On October 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at the meeting room of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT), Mr. Arun Boonchom, the Sheikhul Islam of Thailand, together with Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare, Secretary-General of the CICOT, and council members, presented financial aid to provide initial relief to mosques affected by the flooding.
This support aims to facilitate the repair and restoration of damaged mosques in Bangkok, its vicinity, and ten other affected provinces.
On this occasion, the Sheikhul Islam offered words of encouragement and expressed deep concern for all the people. He also offered prayers (Dua) to Allah (SWT), asking that all those affected find strength and steadfastness, and successfully overcome this trial safely.
