CICOT participates in the central Maulid celebration in Phang Nga Province, 2026.

On April 19, 2026, Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare, Secretary-General of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, attended the Phang Nga Provincial Mawlid Celebration for the year 2026 (1447 AH) at the Bo Saen Subdistrict Administrative Organization Stadium, Thap Put District, Phang Nga Province. The event commemorated, honored, and promoted the virtuous conduct of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Phang Nga Provincial Mawlid Celebration for the year 1447 AH was organized in cooperation with the Phang Nga Provincial Administrative Organization and the Phang Nga Provincial Islamic Committee Office from April 18-19, 2026. This event reflected the unity of Muslim brothers and sisters in the area and the good relationship between the government and religious organizations in jointly preserving valuable virtues and moral conduct.
