The Central Islamic Committee of Thailand extended congratulations and offered words of encouragement to those taking the Quran recitation test.

On April 3, 2026, at 10:00 AM, Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare, Secretary-General of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, assigned Mr. Narongdech Sukchan, Deputy Secretary-General, to represent him in opening the Quran recitation competition to select representatives for the international Quran recitation competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Quran Recitation Association of Thailand, under the patronage of the Chulalongkorn University Rector, was assigned to organize this event. The event took place at Aamanatul Islam Mosque (Sala Loi), Prawet District, Bangkok.

In addition, a donation was made to the Quran Recitation Association of Thailand, under the patronage of the Chulalongkorn University Rector, from the Office of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, to promote and support the association's activities for maximum benefit.
