The Chularajmontri visited Pattani to open the orientation program for Hajj pilgrims of 2026.

Today (January 29, 2026), Professor Arun Boonchom, the Chularajmontri, led a delegation of executives from the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, including: Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare (Secretary-General), Dr. Ali Khan (Deputy Secretary-General), and Mr. Narongdech Sukchan (Deputy Secretary-General),

to the opening ceremony of the Hajj orientation program at the Pattani Provincial Islamic Committee office, in preparation for this important journey of their lives.

Advice from the Chularajmontri: He asked all Hajj pilgrims to maintain patience throughout the Hajj pilgrimage in order to achieve a "Mabroor Hajj" (a Hajj that is believed to be accepted by Allah) and to congratulate those whom Allah (SWT) has chosen as His guests this year.
