The Office of the Higher Education Commission (OHEC) signed an MOU with World Dex G.E.C. Co., Ltd.

On October 14, 2025, the Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT) and World Dex G.E.C. Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote and develop the Grand Halal Bangkok event project. The objective is to enhance knowledge about the halal industry, elevate halal product standards, expand marketing opportunities, and develop the sustainable halal economy in Thailand. This initiative also aims to foster international cooperation.

The objective is to promote cooperation in developing halal products and related services to meet international standards by raising awareness of halal among consumers and other stakeholders. It also promotes the importance of halal certification and branding for trade promotion. Furthermore, the organization promotes halal trade exchanges by removing trade barriers and implementing a harmonized regulatory compliance system.

In addition, the organization supports academic activities, research, and related conferences, and coordinates with both domestic and international organizations to promote halal market expansion and exchange experiences and trainers. Guidelines, databases, and other relevant information between both parties to develop export potential.
